Update on Pro Mod Project
Well, we have made some great gains in the last few weeks.
We started learning how to tune and run the Slider Clutch at about the same time Anne is getting used to the G force of our 500
horsepower monster.
The team did not run as well as we wanted to at the ADRL race in Virginia. We qualified in the quickest field in history.
Anne had to run Kim 1st round and it was kinda cool as it was the 1st time in history that two girls met each other in PXM competition.
BUT, we got outrun.
We ran much better at the next race back in Georgia.
That is where we won our 1st round ever at the SEMDRA race at SGMP.
We were to run Travis Davis 2nd round but Anne broke a chain at the line.
Star Racing team traveled to the AMA Dragbike race in Montgomery AL to compete in the new Pro Comp class.
We qualified 8th…won 1st round, had low ET 2nd round and won it too.
Anne won the semis with an earned by run…but the crank broke and we could not get the engine swap turned around quick enough
to race against Travis Davis in the final!!!! DARN…we did match his performance round by round..but we ended up runner up.
It was still a great weekend for us and our 1st “Podium” finish with our Pro Mod / Pro Comp / PXM Team.
Thanks to everyone that made it possible to go this quick this soon.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.
