More Pro Mod Testing
Star Racing and Anne Hansen went to South Georgia Motor Sports Park to test the Pro Mod practice/trainer bike.
We, Anne and the team, Greg Cope, Ken Johnson and George Bryce, rented SGMP Friday to get in some more practice.
We ran some good numbers considering the track conditions.
Wade said that the rain Thursday had made the track tough to prep.
He said that the surface was still wet under the existing rubber layers on the track.
And as he kept dragging and spraying glue it was pealing up. So we had a less than perfect track to hook to.
The perfect track would be, dry, smooth, thin layer of rubber with a sun warmed surface temperature of 75 to 80 degrees. This is the track prep that produces record setting performances. Hopefully next time out we can “get after it more!!!”
