My thoughts…only mine…not speaking for anyone but myself.

VHR did a great job playing the game to win the Championship and make it look close.
Good for the sport. Good for TV. Good for the drama needed to keep us interested.

VHR did a great job on LE’s engine.
VHR had Drew’s bike and Eddie’s bike ready to win and “block” anything that would come up.

I believe that Drew was going to set the record and gain the 20 points from it and put LE out of contention.

Only a few things could have messed them up……the ODDS were in their favor.
What went wrong was:
Andrew red lighted 1st round. OMG!!!!!!!!!!
Now it was up to LE to just do what he does best….win rounds.
LE won more rounds in the chase than anyone…he is MY hero.

And, Hector “came around” and showed what a TWO valved, 12 inch long “pole vaulting”
PUSHROD engine could run…and Hector was running ALL OUT.

I would bet that if Hector and his engine guys had what Eddie and Andrew had that Hector would show us how fast his Vtwin could go if he had DOUBLE OVER HEAD CAMS and NO PUSHRODS.
With FOUR VALVES PER CYLINDER….please dont tell me you think that given a choice that you would run 2 instead?

Does anyone on this forum think that Hector is smarter or better than Byron and VHR at engine design and tuning? Give Hector the same engine combination that Eddie has and let Hector run it ALL OUT…and he will show you what is “left” in that package.

GREAT job LE, GARY and GT for showing us what everyman can do with hard work and years of training and practice….AND giving credit where credit is due…to VHR for giving him the best engine they could………AWESOME…..

Of course all of this is respectfully in my humble opinion. GB3
