Racing Trickery

Staging tricks:
We know some people will do “anything” to win.
If you race long enough you will see it or have it “done” to you.
I don’t condone it or recommend it as it shifts your focus to the competitor.

Your focus should be only on your process of the best run you can make.
When you focus only on your present moment and your procedure…you have the best possible chance for success.

The “mind game” racer may have had a few good experiences with this method of racing…and may feel it is, his or her, only chance to win.
We preach and practice to concentrate on “our” run….that way, the “trickster” cannot affect us. He can, only, if you let him.
The trickster thinks he can manipulate your thoughts or focus…or he may just try to get you to change your routine to compensate for his, so called, ”mind games”.
If you change anything because you are “paired” with him you will hand over some of your concentration to him.

If you have fallen victim to this type of racing, then you may doubt my teaching or my plan to combat this way of thinking.
Believe me, the race is really between you and your ability to “block out” the unnecessary to keep your focus.
Imagine, if on every run you ever made, how good your performance would be if all you did was concentrate only on your job and the “results” would take care of themselves. GB3
